Bead Flowers offers a range of buttonholes and corsages. Each flower is handcrafted using the traditional French Beading technique. A small selection of readily available French Beaded buttonholes is shown below, but we can make up any flower to order. We will be happy to create a decoration that complements the bridal bouquet or wedding flowers. Please contact us for more details.

Buttonholes are meant to designate your ushers, best man and special male family members (eg father and grandfather of the bride). The groom’s buttonhole should be different in style, colour or type of flower from the other groomsmen. For example, a groom may wear a white rose to tie in with the bride’s flowers, whilst the ushers and best man wear pink roses to complement the bridesmaids flowers. The most popular flowers are orchids and roses.

Corsages are given to special family members to wear eg mother and grandmother of the bride and groom. A few points to bear in mind when choosing a corsage: a large, complex arrangement will be heavy and may not be suitable for the delicate fabric of a wedding outfit. Today, corsages can be worn in many ways—attached to the dress, handbag or worn around the wrist. Alternatively, a handheld single flower creates a wonderfully simple effect.

Please bear in mind that French beaded flowers are heavier than fresh or silk flowers, but they will also last forever and will not shed pollen which may stain clothes.
